Community of Practice
The International Crisis Response Association (ICRA) based in Canada, has held a monthly open zoom call for several years to provide a space for presentations from the field and an opportunity for organizations, municipalities, and community members to ask questions and share ideas. ICRA leadership will continue to offer this community of practice, under the umbrella of The Fourth Branch Institute. The community of practice services also includes resources such as research links, job descriptions, job boards, etc.

Research and Evaluation
The Fourth Branch Institute (4BI) is committed to helping to establish best practices in this new field. 4BI will conduct and publish their own research and are available to partner with other organizations or municipalities for program evaluation and research on these models.
Research and evaluation partnerships are priced on a case-by-case basis depending on the scope of 4BI’s role.

Technical Assistance
The Fourth Branch Institute (4BI) consultants are available to community groups, organizations, or municipalities in developing and implementing a fourth branch to their emergency response system. This can include brief support such as the development of policies or long-term support such as full development and implementation of a new program.
4BI consultants bill at an hourly for technical assistance. Larger projects can be bundled into a flat rate on a case-by-case basis.
